This project was a task and a half! The main challenge (as with much of Wales) was access. We need to get 60 tonnes of tarmac to the top of a mountain for a new driveway, of course we did it, however there were limited vehicles we could use for this task.
We ensured we put a hefty soakaway system and land drainage to allow for the amount of rain which comes in off the hills. The soakaway uses a holding tank to help the water soak away gradually.
For the patio we used Marshall’s Heritage Stone, which complemented the house beautifully.
